live. I've been a picky eater all my life, but have recently started to expand my food horizons for my health and to make up for all this time that I have steered away from foods I never tried, but assumed I disliked. From now on, I am going into every food experience with an open mouth and mind because no matter how much I argued with this reasoning as a child, one bite really isn't going to kill me.
learn. Most generic one-a-day vitamins are made from synthetics instead of coming from natural sources and therefore are not as easily absorbed by the body. I recently switched to GNC Women's Ultra Mega Active and despite the gross smell and neon yellow pee I have felt much more energized throughout the day.
laugh. Farting in public is never fun. But it happens! Best way to diffuse the awkward moment (and the fart): immediately laugh at yourself. Then everyone's laughter will be with you and not at you.
love. Hand-written notes are the BEST thing to get in the mail. Send some love to your family, friends, or significant other, and you will get lots of love back!
live. If you are only given 24 hours in a day, make the most of all of them. Keeping a weekly calendar or daily to-do list is the best way for me to make sure I am balancing time between school, track, and friends. Taking time for yourself is just as important as making time for everything else.
learn. Actively engaging with a subject will significantly help you commit it to memory, according to a neuroscience study. So ask questions, make guesses, talk it out, create note cards; anything to take control of your learning.
laugh. I'm a huge fan of the Kardashians, but this is hilarious.
love. From the Dove chocolate I just ate: "Happiness is in the heart, not in the circumstances."
